Welcome to Mountain Soup Man

Whilst sitting on a bridge between the Kingshouse Hotel and the Bridge of Orchy my walking partner commented on the obligatory flask coming out of the rucksack and enquired about the contents.

I poured the hot liquid into my little cup stating it was homemade Potato and Leek and how nice it was. This started the debate about different soups for different occasions and what soups went with what season and what location and the Mountain Soup Man was born.

As the rest of the world seems to be wasting a great deal of effort in saying nothing at all, I thought I would give blogging a go about a very serious subject, that of the making and eating of soup, I hope you enjoy the recipes
